MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you're urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you!  This year's theme is Take the Plunge into Relationships.  We encourage you to take a risk on a new friendship this year!

The DuBois MOPS groups meets, the second and fourth Monday of the month at 9:30 a.m. and the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 DuBois Alliance Church.  During this time, the children learning a Bible lesson with screened and trained volunteers.  The moms can meet knowing their children are safe and discuss the life of being a mom.  We eat, play games, enjoy each other's company, talk, and discuss the topic for the week.  This is a great time for moms to relax and meet with other moms and develop long lasting friendships.  The moms provide support for one another by sharing personal life experiences.  If you are a mom of a young child, I encourage you to attend MOPS.
