Children’s Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14

Registration Desk

At DuBois Alliance church we place a large amount of emphasis on the safety of your children. The children’s wing is in a secured, monitored area of the church.  Also all of the volunteers in the children’s wing have background clearances based on the Pennsylvania state law.  When you first arrive in the children’s wing you will notice a check-in desk.  At the check-in desk all children and volunteers scan in to, so we know who is in the children’s wing at all times.  The check-in system also provides important information about your child, such as emergency contact information, and allergies.  Please take a moment to complete a child registration form for you child and bring it to the check-in desk with you.

The nursery is located in the children’s wing, and is staffed with volunteers who love little babies.  Every volunteer is screened before they are placed in the nursery.  The nursery is available for infants through 2 years old.  Nursery is available during Sunday morning service, Sunday school, Sunday evening service, and Wednesday evening service.  If you have any questions about the nursery, please contact the church office.

Junior Church

Junior church is a service for children age three to fifth grade.  The children meet in the children’s wing during the adult service.  The service is presented in a way that children can understand it, and provides parents the opportunity to worship the Lord.  Each family has their own preferences on worship, so it is the parents’ decision as to whether children’s church is a good fit for your family or not.

Sunday School

Children’s Sunday school program is using the D6 curriculum, which is a curriculum the church uses for the entire family.  The junior high, senior high, and one adult Sunday School class are all using D6, so the entire family is learning the same Biblical principles.  The Sunday School teachers teach children to go beyond Bible stories and understand Biblical truths.  Students are challenged to apply what they learn in the classroom in their everyday lives.  Children age 3 through fifth grade meet in the children’s wing from 9:00 to 10:00.

Noah’s Park – Wednesday Evenings

A Bible-based, relationship-focused, fun for kids Wednesday night meeting for kids 3 years old through 5th grade.  Noah’s Park includes BIble study, scripture memory, life skills development, and an emphasis on discipleship and outreach.  In today’s rapidly changing and fast-paced society, children often feel insecure and vulnerable.  Noah’s Park gives children a place to belong and to experience God’s love through caring adult leaders.
Noah’s Park meets in the children’s wing, Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
